Corporate Digital Identity
SOLUTIONS|eStamp
Ending 2,000 years of paper seals.
Paper signatures have been with us since Cai Lun invented paper two thousand years ago. Corporate banking still depends on them. Every transaction needs two marks: a signature and a company seal. Digitizing both has long been considered the missing piece of corporate banking transformation.
SelfieSign already digitized the signature. eStamp digitizes the seal.
A seal image can be copied. An on-chain seal can't.
Once a company seal is scanned, it's just an image file. Anyone can photograph or screenshot it and reproduce it, and traditional methods have no answer to that.
ThinkCloud solved it with the concept behind blockchain NFTs. The seal image is registered on-chain and then delivered to the authorized representative's digital wallet. That stops the image from being misused and proves which seal is genuine.

Built in a regulatory sandbox
Corporate digital identity verification and loan application platform
This sandbox project operates under the supervision of the Fintech Development and Innovation Center and the FinTech Space of the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC), with a state-owned bank serving as the testing ground.
On the technology side, ThinkCloud serves as the core platform, with Chunghwa Telecom as the blockchain partner.
The project was formally reported to the Banking Bureau on July 27, 2022, and is scheduled to go live before 2026.

Four Major Pain Points in Corporate Banking
01
Going paperless Is impossible
Every corporate application form needs the company's official seals. One loan application uses about 80 sheets of paper. Taiwan's 2050 Net Zero policy names paperless operation as a key action, and corporate banking can't meet it.
~80 sheets per case · 1.04M sheets per year
02
Seals are easy to forge and misuse
Most seals are computer-engraved, so forging one takes little effort. Current verification methods struggle to tell a real seal from a fake. When a forged seal is used, liability is hard to trace and evidence is hard to establish.
3,430 cases of forged documents and seals per year
03
Fraud losses keep climbing
Fraud in Taiwan cost approximately US$1.55 billion in 2024 across 122,805 cases. That's 336 incidents a day, and more than 11 times the US$130 million lost in 2020.
~US$1.55B per year · 11× growth in five years
04
Business certificates can't replace seals
Over 1.9M business certificates have been issued, but they’re designed for government filings—not mobile use. Unlimited supplementary cards also make it hard to verify who's actually acting.

OUR
SOLUTION
SelfieSign digitized the personal signature. eStamp does the same for the company seal. By registering your seal design on-chain, eStamp makes sure it can't be forged with a single photo, the way image files can.
SelfieSign SVS

Fully digital corporate banking
The credential, which is the electronic seal, represents the company. SelfieSign represents the person. Together, they form a dual security structure and a new security standard for corporate banking transactions.

Three parts that redefine the seal
The eStamp platform has three core parts: the eStamp back office, the eStamp app, and a private blockchain. It combines video e-signatures with FaceOTP, bringing biometric evidence into the digital seal.
ENTERPRISE
The Legal Entity
In-branch onboarding, on-site verification, and registration establish the company's digital identity.
CORE PLATFORM
eStamp Core
SelfieSign
Register by biometric video e-signature
FaceOTP
Verifies the recipient's face first.
Blockchain
Records transactions on a private chain
Verify API
Logs every seal use on-chain.
DIGITAL WALLET
TC eWallet
Once registered on-chain, the digital seal is delivered to the authorized person's phone. The private key stays in the secure element and never leaves the device.
How it works
01
STEP
In-Branch Registration · SelfieSign Video E-Signature Seal Authorization
The authorized person declares intent with a SelfieSign biometric video e-signature. The company's official seals are registered to establish its digital identity. The credential represents the company, and SelfieSign represents the person.

02
STEP
FaceOTP Credential Delivery Verification
Before the seal reaches the digital wallet, FaceOTP confirms the recipient with facial verification. Each code is single-use and time-limited. AI anti-spoofing and audio and video evidence capture add further protection, so no one else can collect or misuse the seal.

03
STEP
Seal Binding · TC eWallet Private Key Custody
After a multi-stage review, the seal's private key is encrypted and stored in the authorized person's TC eWallet. The key never leaves the device and is bound to the phone's security chip. The encryption meets FIPS 140-2, the US government standard for cryptographic modules.

STEP
Blockchain Evidence · Permanently Verifiable
The seal's hash and every use of the seal are recorded on-chain in real time, on a private blockchain built by Chunghwa Telecom. The verification API can check any seal at any moment. The record is non-repudiable and tamper-proof.
